Butt Fusion Jointing

The ends of the pipe and fittings are trimmed, cleaned, and then raised to a preset temperature for a specific time by a heating tool. The molten joint surfaces are brought together with firm constant pressure and allowed to cool. The joint surfaces fuse together to form a perfectly homogeneous joint, eliminating completely the risk of operator error and further ensuring the system’s integrity.
